Welcome to Fire Combat's Corporate website. Fire Combat was formed in 1979 to expand and apply earlier work done by NASA fire protection personnel. The company quickly moved in the area of twin agent fire protection and proceeded to win a number of large military contracts for these units. Fire Combat designs and builds skid, trailer and pickup mounted fire suppression systems. These systems are proven performers in Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard field installations.

In July of 1998, Sensor Electronics Corporation (SEC) acquired Fire Combat. Prior to 1998, Fire Combat and SEC were successful in securing joint fire and gas detection projects. Through our close working relationship we identified strong similarities in business philosophies, customer support and corporate objectives. We recognized that combining the strengths of both companies would result in a successful entity. Sensor Electronics is a leading manufacturer of combustible, toxic and oxygen deficiency gas detectors.
